Bread pizza is one of the quickest and easiest recipes to make at home using bread, cheese and veggies for dinner or afternoon snack. It’s the innovative version of traditional pizza as it has a similar look and same toppings but has a different pizza base. Everyone loves bread pizza at my home. This is my take on bread pizza 🍕
Bread slices - 4
Mozarella cheese/Amul cheese cubes - 1/2 cup ( if using cubes one for each slice)
Pizza sauce or tomato ketchup- 4 tbsp
Vegetables of choice (Onions, capsicum, zucchini, bell peppers, boiled sweet corn, mushrooms)
Salt to taste
Oregano or pizza seasoning
Thinly slice the vegetables. Boil the sweet corn.
Note- Usually in a bread pizza vegetables are cut in cubes but thinly slicing them helps spreading them easier and in each bite you can taste all the veggies.
Note- I required one onion, one capsicum, half half bell peppers, little zucchini and 1/2 cup corn.
Now preheat the oven to 190 degrees C for about 10 mins.
Now take a bread slice and spread the pizza sauce evenly.
Note- If you are using tomato ketchup do not use too much because its on the sweeter side. But then again it depends on your taste.
Now add the veggies evenly. Sprinkle salt on top.
Now add the grated cheese. And sprinkle oregano. Bake the slices for 8-10 minutes until brown and crispy. Slice and serve.❤️
Note- So you can add cheese according to your preference. You can also spread pesto sauce on the slice that also has a wonderful taste. For a healthier option you can use whole wheat bread or multigrain bread.
