Bruschetta 🍅
This easy bruschetta recipe is a go-to appetizer that will leave everyone satisfied and coming back for more. Perfect for summer parties, weeknight dinners, or even weekend brunch! You can serve with soups and use the topping for salad too!
INGREDIENTS-
Tomatoes - 2 big finely chopped
Amul cheese cube - 1
Basil leaves - 10 leaves chopped
Salt to taste
Olive oil - 2 Tsp
Black pepper powder- 1/2 Tsp
Balsamic vinegar/ Lemon juice - 1 Tsp
French bread loaf or any other loaf
Oregano or pizza seasoning - 1 Tsp
Garlic - 1/2 Tsp minced (optional)
PROCESS-
First cut your loaf into desired sized pieces.
Now chop the tomatoes, shred the cheese and chop basil.
If you don’t have basil you can use tulsi leaves just reduce the quantity to 1/2-1/4. Tulsi leaves have a strong aroma and flavour which can be overpowering.
In a mixing bowl add the tomatoes, cheese, salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil and the vinegar or lemon juice. Finally add the chopped basil.
I have added the balsamic vinegar, you can add lemon juice.
Bake your bread at 200 degrees for 7-8 mins or until crispy and brown.
Now top it with the tomato and basil mixture.
Now bake it again for 2 mins at 200 degrees. Serve it with soups or as an italian starter.
The tomato topping also serves as a good salad.
