Chocolate Muesli Bars🍫

So very often i have these sweet cravings but eating too much sugar can cause many problems! I love eating muesli with milk or just as a snack, so i came up with the idea for chocolate muesli bars! Guilt free eating and extremely easy to make.🤗


INGREDIENTS-

  1. Muesli - 2 cups ( Kelloggs Nut and delight muesli)

  2. Brown sugar - 1 cup

  3. Milk - 1/4 cup

  4. Butter - 4 tbsp

  5. Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup (Hershey’s)

  6. Vanilla essence - Few drops (I added 6-7 drops)

  7. Dark chocolate - 200 gms


NOTES-

  1. You can substitute brown sugar with powdered sugar (1/2-3/4 cup adjust the sweetness accordingly), granulated sugar, jaggery powder or coconut sugar.

  2. Do not leave it in the pan for too long otherwise it will start to form cluster and it will become dry.

  3. Do not over melt your chocolate otherwise it will burn.

  4. You can use homemade granola also or any other store bought muesli. I used store bought Kelloggs Nut and Delight Muesli.


PROCESS-

  • Take a heavy bottom saucepan and add butter, milk, sugar and cocoa powder. On a medium flame stir it until the sugar dissolves and melts.


  • Now add your muesli and vanilla essence to the sauce.

  • Now mix it well. Leave it on the pan and meanwhile melt your chocolate in a double boiler or microwave for 30-30 seconds. After 30 seconds stir it and put it again for 30 seconds.


  • In a square tin line it with parchment paper and pour your dark chocolate. Now add your granola mix to the chocolate and spread it properly.

  • Set it the refrigerator for 2 hours and cut it into your desired pieces.
