Chocolate Stuffed Marble Muffins🍫🧁
This basic muffin recipe is simple yet soft. The simple muffin base is easy to make and it can be flavored with a variety of mix-ins. You can flavour it with blueberries, chocolates and other options.
NOTES-
The key step in this is to not over mix the batter. It will lead to the loss of air incorporated in the batter.
It can be made in any flavour. If you don't want it chocolate stuffed you can totally avoid it.
It is a basic muffin recipe. You can use it for sponge cake also, just double the amount of ingredients.
You can top your muffins with chocolate ganache and other topping.
It is best served with evening tea or can be eaten as a dessert.
INGREDIENTS- (For 6 muffins)
Yoghurt - 1/2 cup (dahi)
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup (flavourless)
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
All purpose flour - 3/4 cup
Chocolate pieces - 6 ( i used amul dark chocolate)
Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 tsp
PROCESS -
Take yoghurt in a bowl and add sugar. Whisk it well until the sugar combines.
Now add baking soda and baking powder. Mix and set it aside for 5 mins.
Now sieve the flour in another bowl.
The curd sugar mixture will become very light and froth. It will be of a foamy texture.
Now add oil and vanilla essence. Mix it with a spatula. Do not over mix.
Add sieved flour to the wet mixture and using the cut and fold technique mix the batter.
Now take 3 tbsp batter and add cocoa powder and milk in it.
Now put your remaining batter on your muffin tray. Insert chocolate pieces in the muffins. Top it with 1/2 tsp chocolate batter and give a swirl using a toothpick.
Now bake it in a preheated oven for 25 mins at 170 degrees C or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down before removing from the tray.
You can also top it up with chocolate ganache.
