Paneer Bhurji🤩
I have loved paneer bhurji since i was a kid. This is my recipe of paneer bhurji with a cheesy twist.
INGREDIENTS-
Paneer - 250gms grated
Onions - 2 finely chopped
Tomato puree of 2 tomatoes
Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tsp
Garlic - 5-6 cloves finely chopped
Green chilly - 2 finely chopped
Salt to taste
Amul cheese cube - 1 cube
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 Tsp
Sabji masala - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Ghee/Butter
Coriander leaves for garnishing
PROCESS-
Grate the paneer in the largest side of the grater.
Take a nonstick pan and add ghee. Now add jeera, ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute them for a while. Now add the ginger garlic paste. Mix it well.
Next add the onions and cook them for 5 mins until nice golden. Add the tomato puree and add other spices like chilly, coriander , turmeric powder and sabji masala.
Cook them until the oil leaves the sides.
Now add salt and mix everything well. Add the grated paneer, mix and cook it for 5 mins again.
Grate the cheese on top and give it a good mix. You can also add fresh cream to make it more creamier. Give it a taste and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot rotis or rice.
NOTES-
You can add fresh cream to make it more creamier. Also you can add cashew puree(7-8 cashews) to it.
You can use freshly made home paneer and just mash it.
You can skip the cheese but it gives a nice flavour to the bhurji.
